Evelyn Jones (Howard)

Evelyn Jones was the second oldest of four children born to the union of Maelena and Walter Howard on July 4, 1933. Her youngest brother Cary preceded her in death.
She received her education in the Chicago Public School system attending Wendell Philips High School. Evelyn was a lifetime member of the Jehovah Witness Millennialist Religion serving various Kingdom Halls depending on the location of her home.
Evelyn was married to the love of her life William (Billy) Jones on April 29, 1955. To this union, six children were born, Jacquelyn, Diana Lynn, Phyllis, Phillip, Rosalyn and Carolyn.

1957-10-24 2021-01-22Cynthia was the second child born to Warner Jefferson and Ella Marie Adamorem Jefferson. She grew up in a home with plenty of love, a lot of laughter and the teaching of GOD's Divine Word. As a child you could always find her in a skating rink, reading a book, crocheting, working in puzzle books, and indulging in good soul food. Her education included Argo and Fort Dearborn Elementary and Lindblom Technical High School. She received a bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Talladega College. Lynette Lewis
1957-10-13 2019-07-12Lynette was the life partner of Robert Ellison for 38 years, the youngest son of Ervin & doris ellison. She was an artistic soul. She was a born artist, and saw the beauty in all things. Her artistic abilities were not limited to painting, she was an avid clothing designer and seamstress. She created home decor art pieces; her home was truly a work of art. She is especially missed by Robert. May her spirit be reunited with her parents who preceeded her in death.

He came to know the Lord and was baptized at Apostolic Faith Church. After the divorce of his parents, his mother and her children relocated to San Diego, CA. She graduated from Parker High School in Chicago and made her journey through life in the professional administrative field and moving on to a fulfilling career in the healthcare industry. Barbara Jeanne Piper was born February 9, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois to the loving union of Melvin Jerome Piper and Clara Rubye Johnson. She attended Elementary and High School in the Chicago Public School System and for a short stint attended DePaul University. She married John Scott and two boys were born to this union. After her divorce she later married Larry Green after she and her boys, Philip and John transplanted to Boston.

1926-06-04 2019-06-01Melvin Jerome Piper, Sr. first greeted the world on June 4, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the youngest of the three sons born to Lionel H. Piper, Sr. and Marguerite (Simms) Piper. The family moved to the Englewood neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois, where they joined the rest of the Simms Family. This gave him the opportunity to be raised with all of his cousins, especially, his cousin/brother, Robert “Rabbit” McCommon. Melvin and Nedra had a blended family of his, mine and ours. James Arnold Queen
