Wardell Hemmings was the oldest of four sons born to the union of Wardell M. Piper and Patricia A. James in Chicago. He came to know the Lord and was baptized at Apostolic Faith Church. After the divorce of his parents, his mother and her children relocated to San Diego, CA. Wardell attended Woodrow Wilson Middle School and Herbert Hoover High School. He went to Mesa Cummunity College and received a two year certificate.after which he became gainfully employed. He was a loner by nature and a great conversationalist who would talk to anyone about anything. Wardell was a unique, extraordinary, dignified young man who loved the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memory His Parents, His Brothers; Joseph, Christopher and Charles, His Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and other family and friends.
