While in High school she was swept off her feet by warne B. Geraldine was the oldest child born to William and Geraldine Adamore. She was lovingly known as Little Geri, geri and The Fox. Geraldine accepted Christ at a young age. She joined the church her Great grandfather helped build, Mt. Laverta was the youngest of three daughters born to the union of Allee Allen and Erma Simms Allen. She accepted Christ at an early age and remained a devoted servant throughout her life. She was a member of New Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Ft. Lauderdale and Victory for the World Church in Stone Mountain, GA.  LaVerta along with her husband William "Bill"  Allen moved to Ft. Elnathan Allen Ross, AKA "Allen" of Lake Worth, FL was born in Chicago, IL to Christopher Elnathan Ross and Mildred (Allen) Ross.  He was te eldest of six children. He played the Alto Saxophone in the family band, "The Instrumentals". The band mainly played at churches all over Chicago and many surrounfing states during the 60's.    Marie Antoinette Burrell was born on June 29, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the fifth child born to the union of Saint Clair and Idonia Booker. Her parents, along with her sister Alice LaVergne and her brothers Ira Carl and Paul Verdane, proceeded her in death.

   Marie was affectionately known to her parents and close friends as “Pita Ree”. She received her education at Copernicus Elementary and Lindbloom High School. For 81 years, she was a lifelong sister and friend to Gwendolyn Glen.

Jeanne's Legacy!

Jeanne Olive Lewis ws born on July 15, 1934 to the union of District Elder St. Clair Joseph Booker and Idonia Marie Booker who preceded her in rest. Her older siblings Alice LaVergne Booker, St. Clair Joseph Booker, Jr., Ira Carl Booker, Paul Verdane Booker, and Marie Antoinette Booker who also preceded her in death. The youngest and sole surviving sibling is Dr. Roland D. Booker, Sr.

Jeanne Lewis enjoyed arts and crafts, painting and creating dolls. She peacefully departed this life on Saturday, September 30, 2023. She will be greatfully missed by her smile, fond memories and those she loved.
